    the two boys say, Come along Lord John we will let them all pass by except the very last one.
    When the line of boys has passed through the space made by the other two the last boy is held up and asked which would he choose an apple or an orange. If he says orange he will go to oranges back and if he says apple he will go to apples back. Then they all pass round until the last one gets his choice.
    Then a strong stick is got and orange
