  1. A Story

About twenty years ago there was a house in Creggan wood in front of our window.

About twenty years ago there was a house in Creggan wood in front of our window. One day the owner of the house went out to dig a piece of land for potatoes.
When he put the spade into the ground it was flung out of his hand. Then he got frightened and ran home. One day later on his way home from Ballybofey he fell and was unable to rise.
He died a week later. No person turned the soil after. The ruins of the old house are still in existence.
