    It is sweet to rove by the barky grove,
    When the sun is going down,
    With golden crest far in the west.
    Oer mountains blue and brown.
    As it fades away one last fen fray,
    Seems lingering fondly still,
    Where natures hand has razed so grand
    Majestic Binion Hill.
    (II)
    It is beauteous too to sit in view,
    From it's summit you can see,
    The river Foyle as it onward toils
    To join the mighty sea.
    And Carrickmore lies smiling oer
    Towards Drumeron Hill
    And rateen so bright looks ivory white
    From lovely Binion Hill.

    It is so grand in the summer time,
    To hear the humming bees
    And small birds tune at morning noon,
    Amongst its verdant trees
    The weary soul may he find rest
    And know no human ill
    For peace of mind you're sure to find
