  2. St Bridget's Day

    St Bridget's day always falls on the 2nd November. She was one of the patron Saints of Ireland. She helped St Patrick and St Columcille to convert the Irish people. She was born in Fogart in Co Kildare and she was the only child of very rich parents. Her parents begged of her not to become a nun but she did. One day she was passing in her chariot and she had a beautiful cloak on
