  1. I was told by my father about a priest who had great power. He was able to cure anybody by saying prayers over them. One night he was going on a sick call when he came to a certain spot the horse stood up and would not stir for him and he brought him back and he brought him back a piece and then he turned again and when he came to the spot again he would not go. Then the priest began to pray and the horse went on as good as ever.
