  1. "Boot"
    If a man has a cheap beast and an other man has a better one and they swop the man with the cheap beast has to give him "boot" which may be either money or goods.
    "Tick"
    Getting goods without payment is called "tick"
    "Change"
    If a person buys a beast for a certain sum of money say ten pounds fifteen shillings but has nothing but eleven pounds and he gives it to the seller and the money he gets back is called "change"
    "Cant"
    When a person is selling an article and that he asks twice as much as it is worth he is sat to be at "cant"
