Its of a dance I will make mention,
In Kiltecreeva it was held,
And to my surprise the place was filled,
It was intended for a spree,
By yellow Johnny McNamee,
He had his friends and so well wishes,
Some of them came all by Pusher's,
More came down through Ballinamuck,
Where they of course refreshments took,
It is not fair to be recited,
That most came there were not invited,
For some were there from Aughavas,
Camber, Dugra, and Coriglass,
More came from Clonelly,
To yellow Johnny's to fill their bellies,
The Kiltereeva's all were there,
And with no others they would compare,
Some Scotch boys with their heads up,
Expecting that they'd get a sup,
But they were just as disappointed,
As if there mouths had been disjointed,
