  1. Come all of you that are national attend unto my song,
A verse or two I'll tell to you and I'll tell you nothing wrong,
It was all about the eviction we had the other day,
Concerning brave John Moriarty it grieves for to say,
So bandon stand together and unite like Irish men,
I am telling you this gentleman will flourish soon again
For we will our Parliament the truth I'll tell to you,
We'll show them yet dont they forget what Irish men can do,
The year of '87 the 23rd of July, When the sheriff and the Bailiff gave us an awful fright.
They were taken company by the Captain Crow bars men,and all.
and likewise Bailiff Sullivan who was the worst of them all
It being in a few weeks after it grieves me to relate,
When the Minard men and bachelors they came to mow the hay,
They say to one another indeed it is a fact,
We need not be the least afraid we have the coercion act,
There were two of them from Doonties and nine from Minard,
and the villain of a yanky was a real blackguard,
We'll drive this gang back to the U. S.A. again,
Where he will meet some Irish lads are both loyal and true
Where he will revenge for the deeds of his native country.
