  1. Beliefs in Connection with Boating
There was a man living in a certain Island and he died. After his death the people of the house where the man died sent a note to a man who was living in the next Island telling him to come for the dead man's clothes and when he was returning by boat with the clothes the boat got capsized and the man was drowned. A short time after this the people told the priest what happened and the priest told them that if there was any person with the an the he would be saved. People with boats never go to sea alone.
