  1. People say if you get money on a Monday you will be getting it for the week. If you bring water on a Monday you will be bringing it for a week. The Cross Day of the year is not known in my district. If you cut your hair on a Monday night it will never again grow. There is an old saying about the week days -
    Monday for health
    Tuesday for wealth
    Wednesday is no day atall
    Thursday for loses
    Friday for crosses
Saturday is not any day atall
Sunday is the best day of all.
The days for planting beet is from the first of May to the last day of that month. The time for planting potatoes is from the first of October to the last day of October. March borrowed three days from April to kill the old cow. "March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb."
