  1. When the sun goes down red it is a sure sign of a fine day the next day. When there is a circles around the moon rain is sure to follow. The stars are said to be very bright when frost is coming. The rainbow is a sign of showery weather. When the north wind blows we get cold weather.
    " Wind from the east"
    is not good for man or beast." When the gulls fly inland its a sure sign of bad weather. The cat turns his back to the fire when bad weather is coming. When the flying ants are on the road it is a bad sign. When the smoke is going to the ground it is a bad sign.
