    The Lord bless the bed I'm going to lie on
    And bless the sleep I'm going to take.
    Sweet Mary my Mother be thou at my head
    Blessed John the Baptist be thou at my feet
    And the dear Angel of God at my side.
    May Christ's messenger with the holy oil be in time at my death to put the seal on my soul in the Name of Christ crucified.
