    It is said by the old people that if you meet a red haired woman on your way to the fair that you turn back.
    If you see a magpie on the road before you you will have bad luck.
    If you see a wisp on a hen's leg that it is good luck.
    When a spoon falls on the floor it is a sign that you will have strangers.
    It is said that if you put on your stockings inside out you will have good luck.
