  2. Long ago the people had many trad-es such as the making of mats. First they got the straw and drew it well. Then they used to plait it and they sewed it with strong thread.
    The making of baskets.
    They got long switches and boiled them.
    Then they took the skin off them and they worked them in.
    The making of candles.
