  1. There was a old forge in Lehud in Dan Sullivan's farm. It was in the field below the house. West of the lane in the filed of the cocks. It belonged to an old smith named Séan gaba. He was a Grand father of Dan Sullivan. He used to shoe horses and wheels and a great number of more different work besides. The instruments the smiths use are the hammer nails pincers anvil nippers used for grooving iorns. The tub of water the smith has for cooling the iorn is called the tóisk which means a dam or
