  1. James Sheehan who was living in Ceann a [?] had a horse he was very fond of. He sold her to Con Lehane. One day he was in Kerimane and he saw the horse and they had a big load on him. He was going very slow as she was very old.
    They were beating her with a whip. When James Sheehan saw her he said to someone who was near him.

    My father Michael Walsh gave me this story aged 59 years.
