  1. In my district there are three forts. Namely Jenning's fort, McGowan's fort and McGeever's. The forts are all within view of one another, and there is an entrance into each one. It is a belief that there was a hole in the side of McGowan's fort and people used to go down underneath the ground. The old people say that the earth fell in years ago and smothered the hole.
