  1. There was once a young man & woman to be married on a Sunday but the woman died before the marriage day, & of course the man was very sorrowful. On th evening of she died he was coming to the corpse house, when suddenly he heard a great noise & next he saw a beautiful girl coming towards him. He thought at first it was the girl he was to be married to, but the wasn't sure as he thought she wouldn't be there & her dead. She spoke to him & asked him if he thought as much about her dead as whn she was alive. He said he did & she then
