  1. There was once a man living in the parish of Killasser, and he had a mare, a colt and an ass graving in a field in which there was a lke. One day he went to town & took the mare with him. He met with a neighbour of his & they began to which to talk about their beasts. One man said his beast was the better runner & the other man said his was and that he would race the other to the town.
    The beast from Killasser wasn't travelling to his master's wishes so he beat her with her own bridle, & then the other said that if his beast never went
