  1. The Travelling people that are going around now do not call as often to our houses as they used to long ago. The Doherty family and the Rourke family are those that call often here.
    They sell tins and mats. People buy the tins and mats but the [sic] do not buy the clothes that they have with them. They carry what they sell in carts and bags.
    In some places the people used to be waiting for them to come because they used to hear all the news from them.
