  1. There is a Mass rock in Mulnamina and Father Gallagher who was in Glenties gave the people liberty to make the jubilee at it about 80 years ago.
Kilkenny is the old chapel in my neighbourhood where the priests read Mass in the penal days. They also said Mass in the open air in Mulnamina, Log an Teampuill, and Portachurry.
The priests were hunted out of Kilkenny and the chapel was burned and tossed. Five pounds was the price on the priests head and the same on a wolf's to have them banished.
The priests had to wear clothes like ordinary men in the Penal days.
