  1. The people get married from Christmas to Ash Wednesday. Then they can get married from Easter to Advent. That is the time allowed by the Church. They can get married at other times but they have to pay penalties. The days that are counted by the people are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and the days that are counted to be unlucky are Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The people said long ago that they who would get married on Monday for health, Tuesday for wealth and Wednesday they best day of all.
