  1. The old customs the people used to have on Halloweve night long ago were to eat boxty first and then go out to play tricks.
    They used to go from house to house throw cabbage at the doors. They used to pull it out of some neighbours darden. When they would get a crowd of people in some house they would tie the door and keep them in the whole night
