  1. Once upom a time there was an old parson who wanted his pants fixed. He went to the tailor, and the tailor thought it was time for him to get a new one. So he went out and got a nest of ants, and put them in the patch on his pants. When Sunday came, and when he started to preach to the people the ants started at him. He pulled this way, and that way, until he had to give up. So he said "my dear people I must leave, the word of God is in my mouth, but the devil is in my breeches."
