  1. There are two forges in this town namely Joe Fees and Michael English's. These forges are both built near a stream to enable them to get water. Both of them make loys and shoes for asses and horses. When shoeing horses and asses they work indoor, but when they are shoeing carts they work outdoor and have a big fire of turf made into a circle with a shoeing of a cart in the centre of it.
    People always look on the blacksmith as being a very strong man. This is due to the sledging which he does and it is also supposed that the smoke
