    Children about here usually start to wear boots or shoes when they come to the age of one year. In some places the children go bare-footed till they are three years There are three shoemakers in this town. One of these, makes boots, and the rest of them repair boots. In olden times there were a great number of shoemakers in this town
    Long ago Men, women and children used to wear clogs which were made of wood and leather. These although warm were severe on the feet
