They used to put eggs in the garden they used to say to spoil the crops On May eve they used to put bad eggs in the garden and the people usen't to have any crops that year also they used hang candles on the ditch. There is a plant which they call quick bane with red berries on it They used to put a branch of it on the four sides of the four sides of the garden and they used to say it saved the crops. On May eve the people used to remain up all night minding their crops and they used to be taken all the same
