  1. One night three men heard of gold in Kilfeacle tower Co. Tipperary. They went and brought tools to dig for the gold. They heard something roaring and it was a ghost it said "Look at the star falling and here is the devil on". The men got frightened and ran away.

    The dock leaf was a cure for a "nettle sting"
    A cure for a wasp sting is "blue"
    A cure for chillblains was "paraffin oil".
    A cure for soft corns is "washing soda"
    A cure for a common cold was "boiled milk in onions".
    A cure for warts was ink.
