    Lá amháin nuair a bhí Séamus Ó’h-Icín amuigh ag déanamh poitín agus nuair a bhí sé ag éirghe dorcha tháinig reacht gcat isteach chuig teach an phoitín. Thóg Séamus a bhróg agus rinne sé poll ins an talamh agus chaith sé braon beag poitín isteach ins an pholl agus ar a bhomaite rith na reacht gcat chuig an phoitín agus d’ól siad é.
    Nuair a bhí sé ólta aca chrom siad a gceann le Séamus agus d’imtigh siad amach as toighe an phoitín agus ní fhacaidh Séamus iad ní ba [mh**]? An oidhche sin tháinig fear isteach chuige a bhi baidhte le fada agus sin sé a láim le Séamus ach sin seisean an maide-bhriste chuige agus rinne an fear a bhí baidhte le fada dhá chuid de’n maide-briste.
