  2. Colleted by Corney Mc Manus Drumshanbo from his his mother Katie Mc Manus.
    In olden times my late Grandmother Ann Mc Manus of Murhawn who is now ten years dead, spun all the clothes for the family. She had to produce a large amount of sheep's wool and prepare it. First she had to wash and dry it.
    Then when it was completely dry she had to take each bit and tease it. After that it had to be carded and then it was fit to be spun on a spinning wheel, which was
