  1. This well is on the boundary between Aughawillian and Bredagh. St Patrick is said to have blessed this well on his journey from Dromard to Fenagh.
    People used to come to this well to do stations at this well about thirty years ago. A bush grows beside this well and pieces of cloth were often tied to the bush as proof that some good had been done by the water. Buttons were often left in the well for the same purpose.
