  1. Long ago there was a protestant family living in Churchill. They were landlords. They planted trees out side their house so that they would not be looking at the catholic church. The trees did not grow until they all died.
    An an other time as a priest was coming from the spa to Churchill to celebrate mass, one of the Dennys, a landlord, went inside a fence to shoot the priest, but the priest went up the road and the Denny man never say him.
    One time a woman was making butter in a churn. her neighbour came in to the house and she took a coal of fire away with her to her own house, and she did this three times. The other woman's husband was inside, and when he say his neighbour doing this every time that his neighbour took the coal he threw
