    armed with shot guns and loaded buts and other weapons of destruction and the first victim was a woman selling two pigs who was shot dead by a stray shot. On all there were eight killed. After that the fair dwindled away until finally it ceased altogether. THe fair was held in Patrick Garvin's field at the back of Mr Gorman's house Kilfeacle.
