  1. Paddy Hegarty and his wife lived in a very remote part of the country. They worked very hard and used to go a long distance to markets and fairs. One day Paddy went with his ass and car with a load of oats to the market. The journey was so long that he could not be back for three or four days. It happened to be a very bad market and he could not get sale for his oats. He was about to start for home when he met a man who told him there was a very good market about twenty
