  1. There were may old trades which are not carried on now, such as the making of candles, backets, and making of blankets.
    This is how the candles were made. They got tallow from the cattle, and (they) put it into an iron shape of a candle, and they leaved it in it until it was hardened. Then they softened it again to take it out of the shape.
    This is how they made blankets. They spinned the wool of a sheep and made the blankets
