If you see half a rain-bow, in the summer, it is said that the weather is broken, but if it reaches from one side of the sky to the other it is a sign of fine weather. To see the stars shining brightly in the night is a sign of frost. If swallows fly low it is a sign of rain, but if they fly high it is a sign of fine weather.
