  1. Long ago the people had very different food to what we have now. They used no tea and very little bread. In the morning before they would eat their breakfast, they worked hard for an hour or two. Then they would eat their morning meal of boiled potatoes and mugs of milk. The midday meal was the same as the morning. At night they had plates of stirabout and mugs of milk for the supper
