  1. At the present time there are much easier and cleaner ways of butter-making than they had long ago. Now, when the cows are milked, the milk is taken to the dairy to be separated while it is still hot. The cream is poured then into the cream-tub and left till churning-day which is twice in the week in summer and once in winter. The churn that is used at the present time are much easier the butter is made
