    Nuair a bhí Colmcille ag fagailt an Ghleanna bhí bean ann agus bhí bó aicí ag faghail bhais le péin.
    Chuaidh sí fhad le Colmcille agus d'innis sí do fa'n bhó. Fuair Colmcille corda agus chuir sé cupla snaoidhm air agus dubhairt sé, "Ortha a rinne Colmcille de aon bhó amhain de chailligh dhuibh cos ar mhuir cos ar tír sgaoil snaoidhm agus leigheas builg." Nuair a chuaidh an bhean chun na bhaile bhí an bhó leasta.
