  1. Once upon a time there was an old couple. They were very tricky and often would play a trick on each other. They got tired of everything and got tired of life and of each other. They were too much afraid to kill themselves. One day the man said to the woman. "Will you kill me?" "I will, but how will I do it" "I'll tell you, tie my hands and put me standing on the bank of the river, go up the hill and run down with all your force and push me in." "All night I will do that" said the woman. So tying his hands, she put him standing on the bank of the river. She went up the hill and running down with full force, she was about to push him in when he steped to one side and let her go in herself, she cried "O save me! Jonnhy Sands!
    I can't my dear
    Though much I wish
For you have tied my hands"
He went home and made tea and if he did not live happy that we may.
