  1. There are many pishogies about cattle; they are as follows:-
    When a cow calves a piece is cut out of the calves ear and tail, to prevent him taking any diseases.
    When a cow dies with a disease she is skinned and metal is bought for the price of the skin, it is supposed that will prevent another cow from dying.
    Long ago when a cow was due to calve, the people tied a red rag to her tail afraid the fairies or people would overlook her or take the butter.
    It is said that it is lucky for a goat to feed with cattle and it's not lucky to have an ass tied with cattle.
    If a calf is dying after being calved, a bit of manure is put into his mouth it will make
