  1. Very few are aware of the fact that the frog at one time was a respectable "doctor". He cured certain diseases of the stomach. The writer knew old people who used Doctor Frog for this purpose. They swallowed the frog alive and it was said that the frog when dying kicked away certain matter off the stomach and thereby brought relief to the suffering one.
    My mother told me this cure.
