  1. There are alot of tinkers out now. Such as, Kate Shea, Mary from Cork, Paddy Flynn. They sell Badges and laces and many other things. They go from house to house looking for something to eat. Some tinkers go to the fairs, and they buy hoses and donkeys.
Some of the tinkers sleep in corners and in sheds. When the tinkers go to a fair they start fighting, and they are carried to the barrick. Some of them could tell you your fortune. Mary from Cork carries a bag of clothes on her back. If you called her names, she would follow you. Some of them have tea and sugar of their own.
    Rattle Rattle o'er the stones.
Rags and bones. Rags and bones.
Blue ballons and a dirty old man.
Who never was washed since time began.
