  1. Graveyards are very plentiful in Ireland. Some places are called after the graveyard, such as Killuran, Kilbane, Killaneena, because there were churches there sometime ago and the ruins are to be seen yet. In some places there are blessed wells convenient to the graveyards. Some have vaults for graveyards. These vaults are lovely places where four or five coffins can be left one over another with an iron door which is usually locked.
