Churning
We have a churn at home. We churn once a week in the Winter and twice a week in the Summer. We keep the cream in a cream tub.
Long ago the people kept the cream in timber buckets. It was all dash-churns [?] that were used then. They had many old customs about the making of butter. They always put a coal under the churn when they were making the butter. If any-body(continues on next page)- Collector
