    she saw the horses and carriage standing at the gate. She got very frightened and ran home as fast as she could to tell her husband, and to get things in order before the gentleman would be in. When she had all preparations made she went out to meet him. There was no one there and no sign of the carriage. In a few days after she got news that the gentleman died at the very hour she had seen the carriage at the gate.
