- We have a churn at home. It is a very old churn. Ot is the oldest churn made. It is a very high churn. It holds about fiftheen gallons. There is a handle on one side of it. We put the cream in the churn and then the handle is turned until the butter is in the churn. The milk that comes from the butter is called butter-milk. Butter-milk is a very good drink. The butter is made into lumps with butter-spades. The butter-milk is kept in milk-pans. We sell the butter which(continues on next page)
