    Himself and the wife were coming home wan night and 'twas dark. And what the devil did Mick walk up against but a jennet on the road. The jennet gave him a kick. He threw off his coat and hat in the road and started boxing the jennet and the ould jennet had every kick at him. Begob in the end the jennet got the better of him. "Begob" says he, "when she started getting the two legs at me I had to leave her so."
