   There was a family by the name of Carrolls living down the country wan time, and they were terrible misers. They had a whole lot of sovereigns stored up & put ahide somewhere. There was only the two of 'em in it, an ould man & a woman. Wan night whatever happened anyway they were at a wake or something and the Rosary was on, and when the Rosary was over they attacked saying the Litany.
   Whoever was saying it, when he came to that part: "House of Gold" the ould woman nudged the man "We're all right Jack," says she, they have a house of gold in it."
