  1. Do you know where the old Fair Green of Nash is? Great fairs used be held there long ago on that Green. Wan of the biggest fairs in the Country. Twas a devil of a place too for faction fights.
    There was a man coming home wan night and he had to pass along by this old Fair Green. When he was passing he heard the greatest rifs going on inside on the Green. He went in to see what was on (there was a fair to be there next day and he thought it was fellows putting in cattle). When he went in he saw a whole crowd of little fellows and they running here and there and they shouting "where's my horse?" "where's my horse?" "where's my horse" and they were pulling buachalláins, and they were changing into horses. Begob when the man heard all the rifs about "where's my horse" he says "Where's my horse", and the minute he said it there was a buchallain put between his legs, and 'twas changed into a horse. Not another word was said and the whole crowd started off and this man
